Melissa Lewis, founder of THE ASCENSION GROUP,
is Australia’s leading expert on ‘the power of a woman’s presence’.

Her fascination began as a little girl when she spent many hours in her grandfather’s couture boutique watching him style high-end clientele with his tailored suits and stunning evening gowns.

At that early age, Melissa began learning the skills to run a successful business. She also saw how defining one’s style and personal image gave women the confidence to shine from the inside out.

Today, Melissa and her team of specialists at The Ascension Group change lives by enabling talented women to step into leadership roles through their presence and power. They help hundreds of high performing women (and the leading organisations they work for) become unstoppable by building a presence that is authentic, powerful and polished.

Having spent most of her professional life in commercial and retail property, and shopping centre management, Melissa knows better than most the pressures intelligent, hard-working women in male-dominated environments face.

She also understands the challenges of being a mum of two, wife, cook, cleaner and businesswomen.

Her key is being organised and always wear shoes you can run in! In her spare time, she loves training for half marathons, it’s her sanity.
