Taking The Stage For Executive Presence
We believe public speaking is one of the fundamentals of executive presence. We’ve all witnessed women like Oprah and Michelle Obama eloquently captivate audiences with their wisdom, style and grace. Yet for many talented businesswomen and female executives, it’s their final frontier. They’ve risen up through the ranks into powerful positions, but they know they will not truly reach their full potential until they’ve mastered the art of presenting and speaking in public.
Whether it be speaking at a conference, pitching for new business or even addressing key stakeholders, communicating strategically one-to-many – in a way that is captivating, engaging and memorable – is imperative to leadership effectiveness and organisational growth.
Many of you witnessed my keynote presentation as part of The Ascension Group launch. The feedback I have received about my keynote has been nothing short of euphoric
But what people didn’t see is the amount of work I had to put in behind the scenes to pull this off. As I’m sure many of you can relate, presenting in public, without notes on stage is not for the faint-hearted, there is no safety net to catch if you fall. It takes an enormous amount of courage, commitment and craft which only now I can fully appreciate.
Allow me to introduce you to my secret speaking weapon, Kylie Bartlett who is solely responsible for taking my presentation and pitching skills from “ordinary to extraordinary”.
I’m excited to announce that Kylie has agreed to join The Ascension Group as a Strategic Alliance Partner as we believe public speaking is one of the key fundamentals to executive presence.
